Kwaze is a Caribbean konpa Band from West Palm Beach Florida we feature Steel Drums sound from the Keyboards guitars and Vocals as the frontline of our music the back ground and pulse of our music is supplied by bass and drums. Our music is festive, smoothing and relaxing. It will be the perfect addition to your virtual island party, wedding, tropical event, corporate parties, sunset wedding on the beach and much more.

The band's sound, called compa, is a marriage of traditional Latin rhythms and Haitian folk music. But it's more than that. Guitar improvisations make it part jazz. Percussions samples add a heavy dose of calypso and reggae. The brass section brings in a salsa flavor. It all comes together in bright, beautiful melodies sung over smooth island grooves and punctuated by spicy riffs from sax and trumpet. The brain of the outfit is Fritz Bonostro, who composes and arranges most of the tunes plays keyboard and sings. jThe Palm Beach Event designer started the band in the mid-90s in New York. Bonostro writes songs that talk mostly of love lost and found, social injustice and partying on the beach.
